Felicia is a proud native New Orleanian with deep roots in Louisiana as is evident by her surname, Baptiste. She ventured from New Orleans in 1999 to attend the renowned Spelman College, where she completed her B.A. Felicia’s adventurous nature allowed her to explore many new environments including Minnesota, Boston, North Carolina, and Shanghai, China, where she furthered her education and cultural competency. Her love for her hometown and its resilient people led her back here a few years after Hurricane Katrina. Felicia decided that the best way to contribute to the rebuilding of the city was to work directly with the youth and the communities of New Orleans. She taught various grades in New Orleans for 8 years and was awarded wonderful opportunities during this time, including membership to the Andover Bread Loaf Teacher Network.
While going through the process of purchasing her own home in New Orleans, Felicia realized she found immense joy in going through the home-buying process and knew it would be rewarding to help others attain their real estate goals and independence. Felicia acquired her real estate license in 2017 and has developed an extensive network base through the people she has met along the way. The beauty and deep history imbedded in the architecture of the city of New Orleans makes her especially proud to be a Realtor in her hometown. The patience Felicia gained while working in the community, combined with her personable nature and exuberant energy, makes her the type of realtor clients enjoy working with. To quote her current client, “Felicia goes above and beyond what a person would normally expect from a realtor. I can’t thank her enough for her honesty, integrity, guidance and kindness. She is a true gem in her profession.”
