Karon Reese, Broker
Karon Reese got her real estate license while working on a Ph.D. in literature at the University of Arkansas in 2004. She quickly discovered that she loves the exhilaration that comes with helping people find one of their big loves-their homes. She went on to become a top producer, getting her broker’s license a few years later. She moved to New Orleans in 2011 and fell hard and fast in love with the city. When she’s not listing and selling the gorgeous architecture of New Orleans she’s hosting Mardi Gras parade parties, not missing a day of Jazz Fest, and frequenting all of the city’s great restaurants. Karon serves as the vice president of Coliseum Square Association, as vice president of Friends of the New Orleans Library, and assists with fundraising for the Louisiana Center for Children’s Rights. She’s a member of two krewes, two book clubs, and is a faithful yogi.
What Karon´s clients are saying
If you are thinking of buying in New Orleans I would suggest not doing it without Karon as your agent. She is not only a professional, trustworthy woman but a truly wonderful one too. Her attention to detail is great and she won’t let anything slide by her. I closed with her in only 3 weeks from start to finish. She introduced me to the best lender, and her team around her are the best. Definitely recommend her and will use her for all my house endeavors. -Met S.
I interviewed at least 3 agents to list my Irish Channel home before I met Karon Reese via a recommendation from a family member in the real estate business in another state. I pretty much knew, from the moment Karon walked through my door, she was it. She “gets it” – and as stressful as selling and buying a home can be….I could deal with her all day long! 10 offers in less than 4 days. And she successfully sold my house in the Channel for a MASSIVE record amount per square foot. Well above ask. By double digit percentages. Yes, my house was fabulous, and in a fabulous location….but Karon made it happen. Beyond my wildest dreams. With enough leftover for me and my dogs to give back to the neighborhood. I am forever grateful -Stacey L.
I grew up in a home where the residential real estate business was my parents’ primary income. I can tell the BS artists from the real McCoy. And my God, Karon is legit. Karon helped guide us through every step of our home-buying roller coaster as we purchased a home in New Orleans while living in Seattle. It wouldn’t have all worked out, especially on the timing we needed, without her hard work, guidance, and connections to keep the process moving when hiccups arose. For all that, I love her genuine authenticity in welcoming us to New Orleans more than anything else. There’s ‘thanks for being my client” and there’s “I’m thrilled you’re joining our community!” The latter is what we got from Karon. She’s great people and a splendid choice for finding a home in New Orleans. -Eric E.
